October Movies
Quite a few this time. Mostly short programmers. It was fun to see Bill Williams in his first role as a big-time Hollywod star.The film, Those Endearing Young Charms, was heavily promoted I think. It turned out that we had seen Shadow of Doubt before, but we watched it again anyhow.

Richard Dix. Stilted acting but fun. Clever plot; twisty ending.

A young Virginia Field. Wow! A funny, very British mystery. Cute dog.

Glenda Farrell as a brassy secretary. A fun comedy about an ambitious press agent.
Shadow of Doubt (1935) 10/25 IMDb
Ricardo Cortez. Good little mystery. Constance Collier a hit as the sleuth.
